Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Yevgeny Shestakov met with Minister of Economy - Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Sultanate of Oman H.E. Dr. Said bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Saqri in Muscat on 14 February, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

The parties discussed current issues and promising avenues of interaction in trade, economy, investment and banking.

The participants emphasized the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation in the logistics sector taking into account the existing transport and logistics potential of Oman. Belarus expressed readiness to take part in the implementation of Oman Vision 2040, the country’s socio-economic development program.
