There are plans to start producing Chinese medicines in Belarus in 2024, Healthcare Minister Dmitry Pinevich told the Panorama program on the Belarus 1 TV channel, BelTA informs.

He responded in the affirmative when he asked by a journalist whether any Chinese medicines will be produced or localized in the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone in 2024.

Belarus plans to produce such medicines on its territory. “Indeed. We are now buying finished pharmaceutical products and almost 500 substances in the People's Republic of China. We would like to buy more medical substances, register them and localize their production on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. By the end of the year, these will be new medicines that will undergo registration. I think next year we will have new substances,” Dmitry Pinevich explained.
