So far Team Belarus have won 105 medals at the 2nd CIS Games and are currently second in the team medal standings, BelTA has learned.

Team Belarus have 25 gold, 30 silver and 50 bronze medals. Only Team Russia are ahead, with 141 medals (69, 48, 24). Uzbekistan goes third with 41 (8, 13, 20). All in all, representatives of 11 states out of 22 participating ones have won medals at the Games so far.

The evening program on 9 August features the final bouts in freestyle wrestling (ten weight categories) in Soligorsk. Minsk Olympic Sports Complex will host the final beach soccer between Belarus and Iran. The bronze medal match will feature Russia vs Oman.
