KYIV, 6 June (BelTA) – The resources allocated by the EurAsEC Anticrisis Fund are the well-timed borrowing for Belarus, Finance Minister of Belarus Andrei Kharkovets told a press conference that followed the session of the EurAsEC Anticrisis Fund Council on 4 June. In his words, the decision taken by the Council of the EurAsEC Anticrisis Fund on 4 June shows that the country’s economic development program worked out by the government includes a considerable set of measures. Privatization is one of the conditions necessary for successful implementation of the program. According to the minister, the privatization process will be held using public tenders compliant with the international standards. As BelTA has earlier reported, the Council of the EurAsEC Anticrisis Fund approved a $3 billion loan for Belarus.
