Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated members of the Belarusian national biathlon team Anton Smolski, Dzmitry Lazouski and Iryna Leshchanka on successful performance at the Russian Biathlon Union Cup in Ufa, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“The biathlon event in Ufa have brought together the best athletes of Belarus and Russia, who have been illegally banned by the IBU from international competitions. The medals you won in equal competition with athletes from the world elite biathlon mean a lot. I wish you strong health, good luck and new victories,” the message of greetings says.
