Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko thanked Chinese President Xi Jinping for the construction of a new world-class swimming pool in Minsk on 6 November, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandr Lukashenko recalled the Chinese leader showing him a model of the future swimming pool, and now this facility has already been opened to the public. China is ready to provide technical assistance to build several more social facilities in the future.

"We are very grateful to Xi Jinping and the great Chinese people," the Belarusian leader said.
