The special fund of the Belarus president has allocated over Br370,000 for encouraging gifted school students and university students as well as the pedagogues, who train them. The relevant decision of the fund has been approved by an executive order of Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko, BelTA has learned.

The fund's incentives went to 52 winners of international and national contests and academic excellence competitions. Apart from that, presidential scholarships have been awarded to 187 students and cadets of higher education institutions in recognition of their accomplishments in studying, scientific research, and artistic endeavors.

The signing of the executive order is aimed at detecting and providing support to the most motivated and gifted students, at enabling favorable conditions for the development of their skills and for their successful studies.
