Retirement pensions in Belarus were increased 11.2% on average on August 1. President of Belarus signed relevant decree No 415 on August 4, BelTA was told in the press service of the Belarusian leader. Thus, an average retirement pension will be equal to Br408,100. The move is aimed at improving the welfare of retirees, meeting the pension security target of the socio-economic development forecast for 2008, informed the press service.
