In the next round the Belarusian will play No. 7 seed Serena Williams of the USA, a the-time Australian Open winner. Tatiana Poutchek and Anastasia Rodionova of Australia defeated 6-1, 6-2 Tyra Calderwood and Alenka Hubacek of Australia in a doubles first-round match. In the second round the Belarusian-Australian team faces No.1 seed Cara Black from Zimbabwe and Liezel Huber of the USA.
