Belarus discusses regional, international security with SCO countries
A session of the expert group under the conference of defense ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on 27 July, BelTA has learned.
A delegation of Belarus' Armed Forces led by Deputy Head of the International Military Cooperation Department, Chief of Bureau of the International Military Cooperation Department of the Defense Ministry, Colonel Dmitry Ryabikhin took part in the session.
Participants of the session discussed matters concerning the enhancement of regional and international security in the SCO space as well as the organization of information sharing between government agencies of the SCO member states. Apart from that, the sides exchanged opinions about the situation in the sphere of military security.
