Belarus, Pakistan to cooperate in furniture production, supplies
Furniture supplies were discussed at a meeting between representatives of the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom and Speaker of the National Assembly of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on 22 August, BelTA has learned.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Belarusian Production and Trade Concern of Forestry, Woodworking and Pulp and Paper Industry Aleksandr Pshenny and his deputy Sergei Kasyanov, as well as managers and representatives of Molodechnomebel, Slonimmebel and Pinskdrev.
The parties discussed issues related to furniture supplies, exchanged opinions on current market trends and opportunities for expanding cooperation between the countries. According to Bellesbumprom, special attention was paid to the presentation of furniture novelties, modern approaches to design and functionality. Both Belarusian and Pakistani sides expressed interest in developing cooperation in furniture production and supplies.
A parliamentary delegation from Pakistan is currently on a visit to Belarus at the invitation of the House of Representatives.
