Ambassador: Belarus seeks to expand cooperation with Indonesia
Belarus hopes to expand cooperation with Indonesia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Indonesia Roman Romanovsky told reporters, BelTA has learned.
“Negotiations are currently underway on the establishment of a free trade zone between the Eurasian Economic Union and Indonesia. Both of them are interested in fast-tracking this process. This will give a strong momentum to our efforts to expand and deepen cooperation, primarily in trade and economy,” said Roman Romanovsky.
Belarus and Indonesia maintain long-standing friendly relations, the diplomat noted. According to him, the two countries are working to step up contacts in politics and in trade, as well as in humanitarian matters.
