Lukashenko congratulates Bola Tinubu on assuming office of Nigeria's president
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Bola Tinubu on assuming the office of the President of Nigeria, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.
“I am convinced that your work as head of state will contribute to the country's further development and prosperity,” the message of greetings reads.
Over 30 years of Belarus-Nigeria cooperation the two countries have laid a reliable foundation for all-round mutually beneficial partnership, the head of state stressed.
“I am confident that the established basis will help bring cooperation in the areas of supplies and maintenance of machinery, education, healthcare and maternal and child welfare, industry, agriculture and food security to a qualitatively new level,” the Belarusian leader added. “I hope for further strengthening of the traditionally friendly relations for the benefit of the peoples of Belarus and Nigeria,” he added.
Aleksandr Lukashenko invited Bola Tinubu to visit Minsk at any time convenient for him in order to discuss the entire range of bilateral contacts in a personal meeting.
The Belarusian president wished the Nigerian president good health and success in his responsible state activity.
