Lukashenko: Culture is a treasure trove of the country's material and spiritual heritage
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko extended greetings to Belarusian cultural workers as they celebrate their professional holiday, Cultural Workers' Day, on 8 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusians leader.
“The people's unity strengthens through the great talent, wisdom and exceptional work of many generations of creative people,” the greetings read. “Culture is the treasury of the country's material and spiritual heritage and the most important source of formation of the Belarusian statehood. For centuries, it has acted as a unifying factor of society, a reliable barrier and mental immunity from the influence of an unacceptable worldview.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that cultural workers would continue to multiply the riches of the national art, educate the younger generation on traditional values and pride for the Motherland.
The president wished everyone health, success and new achievements.
