Lukashenko: EAEU proves its relevance, efficiency
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Chairman of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) – Russian President Vladimir Putin, President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov - on Eurasian Economic Union Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“For ten years of its existence, the EAEU has convincingly proved its relevance and efficiency. Today the Union is an important regional integration association that ensures close economic interaction between the member states on the basis of equality and partnership,” the Belarusian head of state said in his message of greetings.
The president of Belarus expressed confidence: “Further expansion of the activities of the organization, which has proved to be a unique dialogue platform, will make it possible to successfully address the large-scale tasks enshrined in the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union and make a significant contribution to joint counteraction to external challenges.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished everyone strong health, strength and energy to achieve high goals. “I will be glad to continue our constructive cooperation,” the president of Belarus emphasized.
