Lukashenko greets participants of Belarus-Uzbekistan women's business forum
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to the participants of the First Belarus-Uzbekistan Women's Business Forum, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“I cordially welcome you to the hospitable Belarusian land,” the head of state said. “In your person I address all women of Belarus and Uzbekistan, whose achievements in economy, politics and public life, education and science, culture and sports contribute to deepening mutual understanding between our states. The idea behind the Belarus-Uzbekistan women's business forum is based on the sincere friendship of the two peoples, time-tested over the years, and the accumulated potential for strategic cooperation. This unifying initiative of women deserves all possible support as a unique phenomenon in the post-Soviet space and an example to follow.”
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished: “May your dialogue open new prospects for the implementation of joint projects, expansion of economic and humanitarian ties between Belarus and Uzbekistan. I wish the forum participants fruitful work, creative inspiration, inexhaustible energy and great success in all their endeavors.”
