Lukashenko identifies four mainstays for young people
Four mainstays for young people were identified as Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with students at Vitebsk State University on 2 September, BelTA has learned.
Aleksandr Lukashenko said: “Sport, a foreign language, music, and definitely studying. Four mainstays for a person. You have to study very well. I advised my children to do that. And keep working hard. Don’t give yourself airs anywhere.”
The Belarusian leader underlined the importance of sport. Speaking about foreign languages, he mentioned that English is very much in demand these days. “The world has changed so much that I know it and I feel it that you have to speak English,” he remarked.
Aesthetic education, in particular, music is also important. “For instance, I revere musicians,” the president said.
