Lukashenko sends condolences to Indian prime minister over hundreds of landslide victims
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent a letter of condolence to Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India over the landslides in Kerala State that claimed many lives, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
"It was with great sorrow that the Republic of Belarus learned of the terrible news about hundreds of victims of the devastating landslides in the Indian state of Kerala," the letter of condolence reads.
The Belarusian head of state expressed his deepest sympathy to the prime minister of India, relatives and friends of the victims. The president addressed words of support to those who hope for the success of search and rescue efforts, wished speedy recovery to the injured and rebuilding of the regions affected by the merciless disaster.
