Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Bangladesh
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin and all residents of Bangladesh on the national holiday - Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Strengthening friendly relations with your country is an important part of Belarus’ foreign policy in South Asia. We are interested not only in diversifying exports to the Bangladeshi market, but also in making a feasible contribution to the development of industry, agriculture and other economic sectors of your country,” the message of congratulations reads.
The president expressed confidence that supplies of potash fertilizers, passenger transport, road construction equipment and electric vehicles and tractors to Bangladesh, closer contacts in pharmaceutics, science and technology, upgrade of aircraft and other equipment will facilitate progress, help improve the living standards of the people of this country.
The head of state invited the president of Bangladesh to pay an official visit to Belarus at any convenient time to thrash out plans to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation in a bilateral format and on international platforms. Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Mohammed Shahabuddin health and success.
