Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Indonesia
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Indonesian President Joko Widodo as the country celebrates Independence Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
“Over the years of sovereignty, Indonesia has made significant progress in the development of the industrial sector, information, communication and digital technologies, succeeded in becoming one of the largest regional centers and taking a leading place in ASEAN,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state emphasized that in the year of celebrating the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries, it is particularly gratifying to note the strengthening of bilateral ties, the growth of trade and the expansion of the legal framework.
The president expressed confidence in the full realization of the existing potential of cooperation in food security, education, and tourism.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the president of Indonesia good health and further successes in his responsible state post, and also happiness and wellbeing to the people of Indonesia.
