Order of Mother conferred on 51 Belarusian women
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 387 to award the Order of Mother to a number of Belarusian women on 13 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.
Among the awardees are women from all walks of life who gave birth and raised five or more children. They work in the manufacturing sector and agriculture, construction industry, social sphere, trade and communications, education, healthcare, the Armed Forces, religious organizations; some of them are housewives.
Among the awardees are dentist at the Linovo rural health clinic of the Pruzhany Central District Hospital Tatyana Shipuk, an employee of the Telekhany branch of the Belarustorg enterprise that is subordinate to the Belarus President Administration Lyudmila Kolonchuk, a kindergarten teacher from Ostrovets District Yelena Borshchevskaya, a social worker from Ostrovets District Olga Kairis, milk quality assessment specialist from Mstislavl District Veronika Bastenkova, a checkpoint duty officer of Military Unit 6713 Alesya Zakharova.
All in all, the Order of the Mother was bestowed upon 51 residents of Brest Oblast, Grodno Oblast and Mogilev Oblast.
