CIS countries seek closer cooperation in humanitarian, educational, scientific field
The strengthening of the common humanitarian, educational and scientific space of the CIS countries was discussed at the extended meeting of the Coordinating Council of the Forum of Rectors of Humanities Universities and Deans of Humanities Faculties of the CIS Member States in Moscow on 18 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

Belarusian enterprises to heavily contribute to new remote Earth sensing satellite
Capabilities of Belarusian enterprises will be used as much as possible in the course of creating a new Belarusian-Russian satellite for the remote sensing of Earth, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov told BelTA after Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko met with top officials of the Council of Ministers on 18 January.

Children from Lugansk Region return home after recovery and rehabilitation in Belarus

Belarus increases volume of blood components procurement: all the needs of medical institutions have been covered
Belarus has increased the procurement of blood and its components by 7%. The volume of donations last year reached the maximum in the history of independent Belarus. More than 260 thousand liters of blood was procured, more than 65 tons of plasma were processed. Thanks to this, it was possible to cover all the needs of medical institutions in components. An irreducible reserve has been formed and is constantly maintained.
