Iran and Belarus can complement each other, cooperate and collaborate, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Belarus Alireza Sanei said on the air of the ONT TV channel on 5 November, BelTA has learned.
"Iranian and Belarusian companies are now cooperating very well and have held various negotiations on the supply of medicines. As for potash fertilizers, I can say that we also have a very successful agreement. We have agreed on the supplies of 400,000 tonnes of potash fertilizers from the Republic of Belarus. We also agreed with the Belarusian side that we will provide all opportunities to become a hub for Belarus to other markets, to third countries," Ambassador Alireza Sanei said. “In the field of oil and petrochemistry, there is good cooperation between our enterprises. We see the determination.”
"Iran and Belarus can complement each other, cooperate and collaborate and thus counter all these economic, unfair, tough sanctions that are applied against our countries," the ambassador added.
