Andreichenko joins New Year's charity event Our Children

Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko paid a visit to the Begoml auxiliary boarding school of Dokshitsy District to present New Year's gifts to orphans and children left without parental care on 23 December, BelTA has learned.

Participation in the nationwide charity campaign Our Children has become a good tradition for the House of Representatives. “It is a pleasure to spend this wonderful, magical, and festive day together with you. Because we, adults, go back to our childhood for a moment, as well. I have been coming to you for over past 12 years already. I am always pleased that your warm and cozy home gets more beautiful every year. A lot is done throughout the year. We, adults, are trying to do everything for you so that you could live here happily, grow, develop, get education and professional skills which will be useful for you later. For your dreams to come true, you also need to do your best to study hard to achieve success in your life. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to those who are always with you. These are your teachers, tutors, nannies, and cooks. They share with you all the joys, successes and difficulties. They do everything to make you feel comfortable here,” said Vladimir Andreichenko.

The chairman of the House of Representatives congratulated everyone on the coming year 2023. “I want to wish peace, goodness and love. May the new year make all your wishes come true. May you have a lot of happy, happy days and be successful in life,” he stressed.

In addition to sweet gifts, Vladimir Andreichenko gave the school a color printer.

Traditionally the New Year's charity event Our Children runs from 15 December to 15 January. At this time, New Year's performances are organized in all regions of the country. Heads of national bodies of state administration and representatives of local authorities visit orphanages and family-type houses, hospitals, foster families and adoptive families, congratulate the children on New Year and Christmas, give presents and help them solve their problems. Public associations and other organizations join the charity campaign.
