The Belarusian National Center for Marketing is to organize the Export League forum in Minsk on 10 December. This is the only event of its kind for the business community of Belarus, which provides domestic exporters with an opportunity to get necessary information from leading experts in various fields of foreign economic activity, BelTA learned from the center.
“The Export League is a unique project launched by the National Center for Marketing in 2023 and is an effective practice-oriented platform. It presents the latest trends in the foreign economic activity with Belarus’ realities in mind, and also accumulate the problems our manufacturers face in their professional activities,” the center explained. “The mission of the National Center for Marketing within the project is multifaceted: it is both to help domestic companies to reveal their foreign trade potential and set up navigation, and to bring the voice of business to the relevant regulators, building a dialogue between the state and business.”
About 500 representatives of the business community of Belarus took part in the forum last year. This time, the Export League forum will focus on Moving Business to the East theme and, in particular, on entering the Chinese market.
“It is no secret that at the moment China is one of the priority trade partners of Belarus. The two countries regularly establish contacts at the supreme and high levels, sign many programs and plans for the development of bilateral cooperation, and implement joint multimillion-U.S. dollar projects. The forum will consider the practical side of working with this capacious, attractive, but extremely competitive market and will identify the most effective ways for Belarusian enterprises to promote their products to China,” the National Center for Marketing added.
The program of the forum is designed for both managers of enterprises and representatives of their foreign economic and marketing services - those who are well aware of the prospects of the Asian direction and are familiar with the existing barriers and difficulties.
The section “China – a Window to Asia” will highlight the conditions of access to the Chinese market, promising export areas for business, import from China and other issues. In addition, Belarusian companies will share their personal stories of success and failures, which will provide the forum participants an opportunity to learn from the mistakes of others and avoid them in the future, and also to develop an ideal strategy of work in the Chinese market.
An important part of the Export League forum will be a panel discussion on global world trends in foreign economic activity and their impact on Belarus. The forum will also discuss in detail the ways of solving the issues of payments and logistics in the current realities, new tools and opportunities of e-commerce. The forum participants will also consider the experience of participation in foreign e-procurement, FEA services that have already been digitized in Belarus, the marketing system that will help make the right management decisions, and the principles of using artificial intelligence in marketing activities.
