The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) lifted the ban on the import of products of Vitebsk Meat Packing Plant to Russia on 26 September, BelTA learned from the website of the Russian food quality watchdog.
Rosselkhoznadzor had scrutinized the materials provided by the Department for Veterinary and Food Control of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry to investigate the reasons for detecting violations of the EAEU and Russian requirements by Vitebsk Meat Packing Plant," the statement reads.
The ban on the supplies of the company's products was rescinded in line with a roadmap on lifting mutual restrictions of animal product supplies. The statement points out that the products bound for Russia should have electronic veterinary certificates.
