A press tour for Russian journalists will kick off in Polotsk and Novopolotsk of Vitebsk Oblast on 11 December, BelTA learned from the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee.
Taking part in the press tour, which will be running through 14 December, are about 100 representatives of Russian regional, federal and Union State media, experts and bloggers from Moscow, St Petersburg, Tambov, Bryansk, Belgorod, Tula, Smolensk, Pskov, Voronezh, Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, Kaliningrad and other regions of Russia.
In Polotsk, the participants of the press tour will visit Saint Sophia Cathedral, Saint Euphrosyne Monastery, the Polotsk State University and the local dairy. In Novopolotsk, the program will include OAO Naftan, LLK-Naftan, and the city's history and culture museum.
On 12 December, Russian journalists will visit Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant, Amkodor Holding Company, Stadler Minsk, the eco-tourism center in Stankovo and the agricultural company Dzerzhinsky. On 13 December, the press tour will continue with a visit to Minsk-Arena and a meeting with Belarus' Sport and Tourism Minister Sergei Kovalchuk and CEO for the 2nd European Games Minsk 2019 Organizing Committee (MEGOC) George Katulin and also visits to Minsk Dairy No.1 and the Hi-Tech Park.
